  My name is Randall Miller and I would like to share something with anyone who is considering using the services of Good Shepherd funeral home. Today is Thursday, October the 20th,2016 and I've just returned from a funeral at Hendersons funeral home on maple street.The deceased is to be cremated.Hendersons had them in a nice casket with lots of beautiful flowers.It was a beautiful service and everyone was well pleased with the way Hendersons handled everything. In 2015 I lost two of my brothers;one in June and the other in November. Their names were Danny and Ronnie Miller. Both were to be cremated. Both were placed on a steel table with a sheet thrown over them and a metal block under their head. I could'nt believe my eyes when I first saw them that way. The staff at Good Shepherd were cold and uncaring, and at times just plain rude.We were given thirty minutes to view them and then told the service was over.I hope anyone who has a death in their family will have the service done anywhere but Good Shepherd.

  I was at this location for my bestfriends viewing the day before he was cremated and it was absolutely HORRIBLE. He wasn't embalmed and the funeral home done a really bad job and the way they had him and presented him to his loved ones was ridiculous. Couldn't even put a pillow under his head just for the 2 hours his family and friends were there to see him. I would never use this place. worst job ive ever seen!!!!

  Our experience with the Funeral Home was exceptional. We found the staff to be very loving and caring of our needs. Herman and the other gentlemen were super. Brother Parnick Sr even tho he was sick personally called me the night we received family and friends to make sure our needs were met. We would like to Thank each of them for a job well done.
